What is TRC?
Tattersall’s Club has established a subsidiary club called “Tattersall’s Rowing Club” (TRC). The objective of TRC is to provide a fun way for Members and their partners, guests and children to exercise and build friendships through what is one of the world’s best water sport activities, rowing.

Who can join and row with TRC?
Rowing as a sport can be enjoyed by people of varying age and ability. Tattersall’s Rowers include “Learn to Row” Beginners through to Elite Athletes. As such all males and females, from 13 years of age are invited to row with Tattersall’s Rowing Club.

Learn to Row sessions are currently being run as part of a UQ Sport Program, where by new Rowers go through the 3 Week program with UQ Sport and then come back to the Club for further Rowing Sessions and Coaching. Please conact the Rowing Coordinator.

Where does TRC row?
TRC rows out of the University of Queensland Boat Club Eric Freedman Boat Shed (Building 30) Sir William Macgregor Drive St Lucia. At the University of Queensland boat shed, there is a superb fleet of boats and equipment available for Members’ use and you are invited to book a session and experience rowing from this picturesque location. The Days and Times of Availability of the Boats Allocated to Tattersall’s Rowing Club is Listed on the Club notice board located at the Back of the shed on the Notice Boards.

What boats and facilities are available?
The boats available to TRC are selected from the University of Queensland Boat Club fleet. The boat shed has 1 pontoon, a boat maintenance and construction workshop, modern clean (male & female) showers, toilets and change rooms and vast car parking areas.
