Entertainment

Entertainment at the Tatts Race Day include:

Head to official after party venue, Hamilton Hotel, to continue partying after the races.

 

Betting Facilities

Both Tote operaters and Bookmakers are located throughout the Eagle Farm Racecourse. These betting operators can take bets for local and other races in Australia.

Tattersall's Racing Club encourages patrons to gamble responsibly.

Transport

Eagle Farm Racecourse is located on Lancester Road in Ascot. There are a number of transport options for getting to the racecourse:

  • Train: Ascot station is situated adjacent to Eagle Farm, with direct access to the racecourse. Catch the Doomben line train from Roma Street, Central or Fortitude Valley stations.
  • Buses: There is a bus stop located on Racecourse Road. Check with translink on the correct bus and time.
  • City Cat: The City Cat operates down river to Bretts Wharf.  It is approximately a 10 minute walk along Racecourse Road to the main entrance of Eagle Farm (about 800m).
  • Taxi: A taxi rank is located right outside the main entrance.
  • Car: There is limited free parking spaces at Eagle Farm. The parking spaces can be accessed by Lancaster Road or Nudgee Road. There are allocated disabled parking spaces in the Nudgee Road car park.

Dress Standard

Public Areas

  • Minimum respectable dress standards are required - dress t-shirts, collared shirts, jumpers, dress shorts and jeans are deemed appropiate.
  • Footwear must be worn at all times

Gentleman:

  • Collared shirt (tucked in)
  • Tailored trousers
  • Covered dress shoes
  • Plus either a tie or a tailored suit-style jacket or blazer

1 December to 28 February (Summer Dress Code)

Ladies:

Ladies are required to be dressed neatly in keeping with contemporary standards; no bare midriffs
