The Members' Bar is a grand feature of Queensland’s heritage. Built in 1926 Long Bar, as it is affectionately called, has been visited regularly by Queensland’s business and political elite. It was the scene in the yesteryear of the ritualistic Monday morning settling by bookmakers and their clients.
The Long Bar has witnessed the results of many a betting plunge, successful and unsuccessful. The bar is very distinctive with its maple paneling and overhead punkahs reminiscent of Singapore's Raffles Hotel.
Ladies are welcome to relax in the Members' Bar.

|Members’ Dining Room
The Main Dining Room reflects the elegance of yesteryear and opened for business in 1939. The Room’s style is Art Deco and its prominent features are Queensland marble walls, housing six Art Deco 3 metre mirrors. Other features of this Room are four 3 metre oil paintings of rural Queensland industry of the time painted by C H Lancaster, William Bustard, E Stanley Hobday and Mel Haysom. The Room seats 150 people in one sitting.
The Room’s furniture is all original black lacquer captains chairs, the cutlery and cruets are the original settings. The Room’s décor is enhanced by the bronze statues and brass potted palms.
The imposing walls are finished in local Queensland green marble. The windows are a striking example of rare copper light, reflecting classic art deco design.
